Spearheading the delicious food revolution are those native to the city that have embraced the entrepreneurial spirit and are bringing their passion for food back to their hometown. Working hard and living active lifestyles, they began to see the importance of hand crafted, farm-to-table dining options to feed themselves and their families. This ideology has been the driving force behind several of our local hotspots.

Beach Break Café – Located on Coast Hwy this restaurant takes the top spot for our favorite breakfast eats. Our personal favorites are the variety of giant omelets they offer or the delicious and unique banana crunch French toast. No matter what you order at the offer we highly recommend including a side of their famous coffee cake!
Ruby’s diner – Runner up for our favorite breakfast place is Ruby’s diner on the pier, within walking distance of North Coast Village. There’s nothing quite like enjoying their delicious cinnamon roll French toast combo while watching dolphins pass by.
Harbor Fish & Chips – If you’re a fish & chips fan this family owned joint is a must during your stay. Located in the harbor you walk up and order your food and can enjoy on tables outside and watch the boats and animal life.
Miss Kim’s by That Boy Good – If you’re a BBQ connoisseur you’ll definitely need to make a quick stop at That Boy Good or “TBG” as the locals call it. It’s located in a pub and has a laid-back feel. We recommend the smoked pulled pork or beef brisket!
Flying Pig Pub & Kitchen – This is a ‘high-end’ home grown BBQ joint. The truffle fries and bacon mac n’ cheese are a must with any meal! You really can’t go wrong with any menu item and some even rotate frequently due to chefs choice. They also have some awesome desserts.
333 Pacific – This is a high-end, multi-course restaurant that sits right on the strand and looks out at the pier and ocean. The food is delicious with a variety of options available.
